The worldwide Global StorageSphere is forecast by region, storage media type, consumer or enterprise managed, location (core, edge, and endpoint), system type or application, and cloud/noncloud."Global data generation continues to accelerate, but the expansion of storage capacity is defined by uncertainty and restraint," says Adam Wright, research manager for IDC's Global DataSphere and Global StorageSphere.
